A couple of years ago before I enter the senior high school I had a difficult which one to choose between SMAN 1 or SMAN 2. Lots of my friend told me that I had to choose SMAN 1 so we will not be separate after we graduated from junior high school but my mother insists that I had to continue my study in SMAN 2 because she thought it was the best for me. So before I register and take part in entrance test I decided to find the similarities and the differences from both school but in the end, I enter SMAN 2 because I was failed in SMAN 1 entrance test.
First, we know that both school SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 is a favorite school so the competition between this two schools is quite tight. If we see from the achievement both schools had quite a good name in the state competition. In addition, the scout organization at SMAN 1 is just as good as SMAN 2, both schools have a good student organization and language departments.
I try to find the difference from both schools which will affect my final decisions. In terms of location, SMAN 1 is quite far from my home but SMAN 2 is closer. SMAN 2 has a good environment the school is surrounded by trees so the school feels so fresh. I didn't consider the financial because my mother said I don't have to worry about that. But the most important thing in this cases is I have to think about my mother's feeling because if I don't do as she said she will be sad and it will affect my school life. The factor which I consider is about rivalry if I decide to enter SMAN 1 I will be with the other who has above average skill in academic and non-academic aspect but if I enter SMAN 2 I will compete with the other who has average skill.
In conclusion, I decided to enter SMAN 2 and I believe this the best choice. The fresh environment, and average skill student, and of course my mother's hope, I will enjoy my study on SMAN 2.
