Soekarno was not only popular as a hero,
but he also became a great inspirator. I chose him because I thought he was a
great orator born in Indonesia. Many people are motivated by him until now. But
not everyone in the world knows him, so I will tell who it is Soekarno.
Ir. Sukarno was born in Blitar, East Java,
June 6, 1901 with the first name is Kusno Sosrodiharjo son of couple Ida Ayu
Nyoman Rai and Raden Soekemi Sosrodiharjo. He was Died in Jakarta on June 21,
1970 at the age of 69 years. He was the first Indonesian President to take
office in 1945-1966. Sukarno is popular as the founding father of the nation
and is also known as the father of proclaimers with Mohammad Hatta.
Soekarno married with eight women’s, there
is Fatmawati, Hartini, Haryati Heldy Djafar, Inggit Garnasih, Kartini Manoppo,
Oetari, Ratnasari Dewi, Yurike Sanger. Soekarno has 11 children’s namely
Megawati Soekarno Putri, Mohammad Guruh Irianto Soekarno Putra, Rachmawati
Soekarno Putri, Sukmawati Soekarno Putri, Taufan Soekarno Putra, Bayu Soekarno

Soekarno studied in Putera Earth School,
HBS (Hoogere Burger School) and Technische Hoogeschool, now the Bandung Institute of Technology.
Soekarno was the one who first sparked the concept of Pancasila as the foundation of the Indonesian state by himself
called it.
Soekarno first became popular when he
became a member of Jong Java Surabaya branch in 1915. In 1926, Soekarno founded
Algemeene Studie Club (ASC) in Bandung which was the inspiration of
Indonesische Studie Club by Dr. Soetomo. Algemeeni Studie Club is a public
lecture founded by the nationalist intellectuals of Bumi Putera in Tanah Pasundan,
Bandung at the time of Dutch East Indies in 1926.
He was not only a smart student but also
active in Movement Party called PNI. He was arrested in 1929 by Dutch Colonial
Authorities because of his activity in Indonesia Pro-Independence Movement.
When he was released, he became a popular hero. He was arrested several times
during the 1930's when Japan came to the archipelago in 1942. When Japan came
to Indonesia, he was still active in the Movement Party. On November 10, 1943
Soekarno became the leader of BPUPKI that was supported by Japan.
